I never got the full story on this one. It was a contract for a pen & ink illustration of 4 classic movie
monsters: Boris Karloff's Frankenstein creature, Bela Lugosi's Dracula, Lon Chaney, Jr.'s Wolf Man & Karloff again as The
Mummy. The client wanted it to look like a cast party, so they're all grinning slightly. The reason you're only seeing Karloff's
creature here is... I never could capture Lugosi! When I've got the time, I'd like to try again. I probably could do it now,
since I've studied more on portraits lately.
